亲爱的大家，
迟来的问候希望没让大家等得不耐烦。上星期刚飞到台北, 开始了我即将展开的新生活。在短短的一个星期里，我拍了新的MV，跑了校园还有把新住宿整理了一番。
台北的天气也正在转变。忽冷忽热，一下太阳，一下刮风下雨。雨伞，外套，水。。。包包里似乎一样都不能少，顿时变成了小叮当。万事俱备才能保持好健康吧！若想想，我发片总在秋转冬的季节里，让我这位生长在热带国家的歌手不仅觉得好有趣哦！
在参加完明晚的《全球华语歌曲排行榜》颁奖典礼之后，我将返回台北展开一系列的工作与活动。希望大家一定要多多支持哦！

I have only recently discovered Joi’s music and realised I have been missing out. While I do not speak Mandarin (or Cantonese)...I enjoy the music and have quite the collection.
My problem is finding a website that is in English that carries your divine music. I am especially looking for your 2005 CD +MVs (I think it is called “One Day” as well the upcoming CD (which I have been told is to be released on 11/10/06 with 17 tracks…and the MV I have seen for it is GORGEOUS)... Your voice out-shines even that of some of my previous other favourites (who now pale in comparision to you)...
Can you or someone please tell me where I can purchase these musical masterpieces? My usual source (YesAsia) only has one of your CDs and it is out-of-stock and not one of the 2 I am looking for anyway.
Please, I am desperate.
Your music is that of the angels, and I have got to find somewhere to purchase it. The only site where I have even found 1 of your CDs is all in Mandarin which I do not speak and my American computer cannot translate.
I have searched the internet all day long (I am that devoted) with no luck, other than to find some MVs of your work and various websites that I cannot access in English. Plus, not only do I need to be able to read in English, but also to pay in United States dollars (or a conversion thereof…) via a major credit card.
Surely, there is some way to buy these CDs? Surely?
I have begged YesAsia to carry your 2005 release and your upcoming release, but they have not replied, so I am not holding out much hope. I don’t know why…you’d out-sell most of the singers they have there.
Anyway, if anyone has any ideas…please…let me know.

Glad to hear that someone from the US is listening to our local music. It actually very hard to find Joi’s album in the US, not even in Canada, just because they don’t do distribution in this part of the world. I’m currently staying in Bufffalo, New York and the only way that I got her albums was to buy them back in Singapore. I have her 2 most recent albums including the one that was just released. If you want, I can rip them on a CD and send it to you. If you’re REALLY desperate for an original, I can give you one of the albums, the one titled “One day I will…” (2005 CD + MVs).
How i hope that you can come to singapore and have a concert X)) Sure will wanna go ( if parents let ) =X JIAYOU! always supported! (=

Actually, I have three close friends who all listen to Mandarin music (along with some Cantonese and French…although we only speak English, Spanish and French…). We have some favorites, but after hearing Joi…
WOW.
She really is right there with the best of the best.
I live relatively close to the Bay Area of San Fransisco, and so it’s not hard to find Mandarin music on the radio (I have an online Mandarin station playing on my computer right now…it’s currently the only way I have to occassionaly hear Joi’s magical vocals), but believe it or not…it IS hard to find in stores.
Even downtown in China Town, the selection is extremely limited and most people I speak with or ask about stores only know or carry Cantonese music.
Anyway, thank you again for the kind e-mail, and I hope to hear from you soon. Once I heard Joi sing, I just knew I couldn’t give up hope of obtaining these two CDs…
Her type of perfection in song doesn’t come along often, and when it does I will attempt to move mountains to locate the music that so touches me.
A note to Joi: please, for your American fans…if there is a way for you to include a purchasing option directly from your website…it would be wonderful. I have seen several artists provide a link to directly purchase their music from Singapore, Taiwan, or wherever for the English speakers that cannot access the Mandarin-only websites. It would be extremely beneficial for those of us looking to find your albums!
Thank you for your music, and I only wish it were more easily available in the United States to us non-Mandarin speakers. We ARE out here, and we ARE listening…and in your case…we ARE loving what we hear!

最近買了《一公升の眼淚》和《生命の障礙》。剛開始看《一公升の眼淚》。﹝或許已經有很多人看過這本書或同名日劇。﹞雖然還沒看完但得到了很多對人生啟發。作者木藤亞也(1962-1988)在15歲就被診斷患有「脊髓小腦萎縮症」﹝Spinocerebellar Atrophy﹞。病因不祥。症狀包括身體很難抱持平衡、動作不協調和遲鈍、常常跌倒﹝患者的頭會先著地。一般人在跌倒的時候，最自然的反應都會用手支撐。﹞和字跡凌亂。漸漸的患者會失去走路、寫字、說話甚至吞噬的能力但這個病卻絲毫不影響患者的思惟和智力。到最後，患者會失去意識然後死亡。這種病到目前為止都沒有藥物可以根治。這本書是作者的日記。她從她開始患病一直寫到她無法在握筆為止。而《生命の障礙》的作者是木藤潮香。﹝木藤亞也小姐的母親。﹞我覺得也因該是一本很好看的書。以下是取自《一公升的眼淚》的摘要：

i read today’s xian zai then found out joi was “ill-treated” in taiwan…i felt so sad…she only given 2 sets of costumes for her mv and they only gave her a very small room to live in….somemore she fell down many times….i hope she’ll endure it and her album will definitely sell in taiwan! jiayou joi!
